Description

Balblair relaunched many of its core drams back in 2019, one of which was this super Balblair 12 Year Old presented here in a 5cl miniature.

This dram is matured in charred American white oak casks and ex-bourbon barrels for a punchy smoky release. The nose is fairly sweet with notes of vanilla cake, citrus peel, earthy cedar and a hint of nutmeg.

The palate features notes of sweet red apple, some barley and a little hint of honey baked pears. Honey creeps into the finish too with some notes of sultanas.
