Description

A well-matured single malt from Deanston, which spent 23 years of rest in Oloroso sherry casks. This lengthy stint in these sherry casks has allowed rich dried fruit, decadent chocolate and festive spice notes to develop. Definitely one to savour.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Blackcurrant jam, Christmas cake, slightly floral at points – citrus blossom and vanilla pod.

Palate: Crunchie Bars, almond pastries, melted butter, cinnamon sticks, a touch of autumn leaf and new leather.

Finish: Dense sherry, tobacco and honey.
