Description

The Woodsman is a blended Scotch whisky from Whyte & Mackay (owners of Dalmore, Fettercairn, Jura and Tamnavulin), designed for use in cocktails and mixed drinks. Particularly oak-y, as you might expect from the name, with plenty of vanilla and nutty malt notes in tow.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Sandalwood, honey, almond slices and sawdust.

Palate: Creamy vanilla, ginger root, slight grain sweetness.

Finish: A touch of smoke underneath spearmint and cinnamon.

 

Awards:
